Lens Cleaning Tips

There are 3 important part that you should clean the lens. ie front, rear and filters (if you have it),

  3. Squirt about 5-6 lens cleaning fluid on the front.

Camera Sensor Cleaning Tips

To check if your camera sensor is dirty or not, you can run a simple test. Set the camera to aperture-priority mode and select the F-number maximum (smallest aperture). Then set it to manual focus, then point the camera at a bright light source (lamp / sun). Preview the photos to see black spots clear. The spots are dust on the camera sensor. To clean the camera sensor, here are the tips.
  1. Lock the mirror in the camera (can be seen in the manual for the mirror lock feature)
  2. When cleaning the lens, put the camera in a stable place, for example a table. Make sure the place you clean the camera is dust-free area.
  3. Remove the lens from the camera body.
  4. First use a blower to remove dust particles.
  5. Use sensor cleaner.
  6. Wipe the sensor with a linear or spiral motion, starting at the middle, with the goal of getting rid of the dust from the middle of the sensor.
  7. Replace the lens and check if the sensor is clean by doing the test as above
  8. If there are dust, do steps 1 through 6.
